Where the pedal meets the past
Miles Through Time is coming to Toccoa, Georgia. What is Miles Through Time?
It’s a classic and exotic vehicle museum located in the old Ford Dealership at 876 Currahee St. Display’s will be provided primarily by local vehicles being stored at the facility for everyone to enjoy. Owners of classic or exotic vehicles, including motorcycles and boats can pay to store their vehicles in a secure, climate controlled facility. While they’re stored at Miles Through Time, they will be on display for the public to view the one of a kind, rare vehicles.
When the owners are ready to take there vehicles for a drive, all they have to do is let Miles Through Time know they are coming and their vehicle will be waiting for them. This concept allows owners to free up the space in their garages and even allows them to purchase more vehicle for their collection.
Sean Mathis, one of the owners of Miles Through Time said,
” I love sharing my Pop’s 1959 Cadillac Coupe De Ville with everyone and having a place where people can come enjoy it with others is priceless.”
Another unique aspect of Miles Through Time, besides most of the inventory being locally owned is that some of the vehicles might actually be available for sale. Owners that are interested in selling their classic or exotic vehicles have the option to consign their vehicles with Miles Through Time while they are being stored there. Miles Through Time handles the entire sales process so owners don’t have. Vehicles listed for sale will also be available nationally through their website milesthroughtime.com.
Miles Through Time will be a destination location for the city of Toccoa. They plan to host cruise-ins, car shows and many other events which will increase overall tourism to the community.
Miles Through Time is currently working on renovations to be able to open it’s doors to the public spring of 2017. Anyone interested in vehicle storage is encouraged to fill out the form on Miles Through Time to get on the list before all the spots fill up.
