Lavonia is a city in Franklin County, Georgia, United States. The population was 2,156 at the 2010 census, up from 1,827 at the 2000 census.
This historic town is located a few miles from beautiful Lake Hartwell and is home of former Governor Ernest Vandiver. Lavonia is the smallest city in the U.S. with an original Carnegie Library. The downtown is filled with antique shops and delightful restaurants.
